Urgent Problems

If you, or a member of your family, are suffering with an illness that requires treatment  the same day, please telephone the surgery between 9.00 and 10.00am.  The doctors and nurses are happy to give advice over the telephone when appropriate. Unless your problem is urgent you may at times be asked to call back later to avoid interrupting the doctors when they are with a patient.  Please leave a landline number for the doctor to call you back if necessary.  Telephone consultations are only available during the morning surgery.

Patient Services

Services are delivered by an experienced, competent, multidisciplinary team, made up of doctors, nurses, health care workers, community staff and support staff working together. Both doctors and nurses have undertaken specialist qualifications in a range of areas allowing the practice to offer specialist support to patients. The practice offers a fully computerised medical records system, supporting full access to information by all clinicians. These electronic medical records are accessible by all staff, those directly employed by the practice and community staff (district nurses, health visitors, physiotherapists, mental health workers etc), allowing a seamless pathway for patients.

Interpreters

Please note that the languages spoken at the practice include English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati. However, the surgery also has limited access to an interpreting service for those patients who need assistance during consultations. Please note that at least 48 hours' notice is required for booking this service.

Disabled Access

We provide disabled car parking clearly marked for disabled patients. The entrance to the building is via a gradual ramp to permit access for wheelchair users. All patient services are provided at ground floor level and a disabled WC is available in the waiting room. The reception counter has similarly been adapted to welcome patients attending in a wheelchair. Please let us know if you have any difficulties with access.
