Routine Appointments

All patients with routine medical needs are seen by appointment. Patients are free to make an appointment with any of the clinicians but are encouraged to see the same person for follow-up appointments. There will generally be a longer wait for an appointment with the practitoner of your choice. Under our advanced access policy you are asked to assist us by letting the receptionist know the reason for your appointment. This will help us in choosing the most appropriate health care professional for you.

Appointments can be booked online. If you are interested in this facility please contact the surgery for further information.

Attending Your Appointment

Please arrive at the surgery 15 minutes prior to your appointment and report at the reception desk. Patients arriving late may be required to re-book the appointment.

Cancelling Appointments

If you are not able to keep, or no longer require, an arranged appointment please inform us as soon as possble. We can then offer that appointment to another patient. Patients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments with the doctor or nurse, without good reason, will be removed from the practice list.

What is Choose and Book?

Choose and Book is a service that lets you choose your hospital or clinic and book an appointment.

When you and your GP agree that you need an appointment, you can choose which hospital or clinic you go to.  You will also be able to choose the date and time of your appointment.
