Named Accountable GP
From April 2015 onwards Practices are required, under the GMS contract to provide their patients with a named accountable GP who will take responsibility for the co-ordination of all appropriate services and ensure they are delivered where required, based on the named GP's clinical judgement, to each of their patients. For all our patients your named GP is Dr A Sharma.

Practice Nursing Team

The practice nursing team provide a variety of specialised clinics for example diabetes, hypertension, childhood immunisations, family planning as well as general nursing appointments.
Health Care Support Workers
Our HCAs provide a range of appointments and support the practice nurses in their duties. The team consists of Pal Kaur, Ranvir Hayer and Jay Sharma.
District Nursing Team
The District Nursing team are providing wound management service for our patients. The district nurses, however, will still provide this service for housebound patients.
Health Visiting Team
The health visitors are based at the local Sure Start Centre. They see patients by appointments and drop-in sessions.
Practice Support Staff
Mrs Jay Sharma is a partner and Registered Manager (with the Care Quality Commission), She is responsible for managing the practice and services that are part of the day-to-day smooth running of the practice, including health and safety and patient services.
The reception team is responsible for providing a high quality service to patients that includes: welcoming all patients and visitors into the practice, ordering repeat prescriptions etc. This team provides a secretarial service to the primary health care team, including Choose and Book, hospital referrals, insurance reports and queries regarding hospital appointments.

Poonam Kataria also carries out scanning documents into the clinical records and timely referrals.
